I've seen a bunch of cabs for the mms fix. I was wondering what one you used.

I used the ones i posted in this thread.

Is the server the same for every sprint owner?

yes it is. it's a universal setting.

Because I was wondering what the Sprint mms sever was if its the same.

that info is just above this post. with install instructions. posts 119 and 120. which says:

1. first do this or nothing will work. Edit the registry by going to HKLM\System\Inbox\ExternalAccounts\SMS and change SMS key/ folder to SMS.htc

2. Install mms fix cab
3. Install new arcsoft cab.

What do you do, run the mms fix cab and then it gives you a place to enter the server name?

you run the cab form your phone using the file explorer on the phone to launch the cab. the fix cab changes the settings for you.

Still on stock ROM. I dont think I could deal with all the Texting problems. and losing mms sucks

you will not "loose" anything. mms is working just fine. you just have to goto the album and send the pic from there.

i'm all over it. i'm on Mighty Rom War atm. it's a little more stable, smoother, and less lag than juicy r6.

Aint texting laggy at times on WAR i found it to be very laggy enough for me 2 stay out of 2.5

not too bad. maybe 5 seconds at the most.

5 seconds is too much load time to tell the truth for me... i send out and receive prolly close to 800 texts and emails a day on average... having the lag just pisses me off and makes the process of texting not fun and frustrating. but too al their own and we all have different uses for our devices.

hahaha sounds about right, that includes the hours that i sleep to since some hours i make double or triple that depending. trust me my shit is always blowing up thats why speed, stability, and performance is so vital to me as a power ppc user.

Wow awesome. Thank you. I wasnt to sure on the MMS because a few pages back some got it to work, others not so much. I figure just wait till it was in a build that was install and forget.
Hopfully I will have time christmas day to flash. Well that doesnt take time. But I need a reg. edit app, and need to just reread a few posts before i actually start making changes to the reg.
