got it installed and running on an XP sp3 based OS.
it looks largely the same as 07, the top menus are the same. the biggest difference is the "office button" it now opens a full screen menu, giving a lot more info about the document and options

Yeah I think it looks nice bro, but I'm gonna wait for a further release since my 07' is working fine no need to rush it. I have a good feeling that there will be much more features in the final release vs this one. This seems to be very similar to 07 asiude from a few minor changes, so will wait this one out. Thanks for the post tho, gives us something to look forward to and the chance to get some early feedback as well!sigpic

yup!!! your correct i have finally finished downloading!!! lol
it works great but its quite similar to the 07!!
im more than sure that they will come up with more updates once the full and final version is completely done!!
for now i will work with this 2010 on the xp and wait for the full version so that i can install that baby in my vista!! ha ha ha!!! thanks all you who have tested this baby out and well a big thanks to scott8813 for the post!!!sigpic

Is there compatibility issues or does this save as a 07 file?

mmmmm amy have to try this but i dont know why they have to keep getting really fancy with word for heavens sake..... oh well worth a shot and can always go back to 2007 if needed :) hell got 2003 too both corporate editions :) nice post buddyComment

what do I do with the .bin file? Burn it to a CD or DVD and run it? Do I burn it as an .iso? How do I install this?

burn it as a iso ! it depends on the size of the package you can either use regular cd or dvd.Whatever iso program you use,it'll let you know the size.Once you burn it you run it like a other install cd.the run commandComment
