Windows Mobile 7 Evolving From 6.5

Previously as rumors had, we thought Windows Mobile 7 is being prepared from the ground up but now we’re sure it’s just being evolved from 6.5 and if this continues, there are high chances of failure for Microsoft again.

Latest leaked builds show the Start bar being pushed down and the top bar is reduced in size almost similar to the one we see in Android OS. The bottom bar actually borrows the shrunk size of top bar so the buttons like Start menu and other soft-key menus are quite large now for easy access by fingers.

Latest developments reveal some visual enhancements made to the virtual keyboard, see in the image here. If the situation continues like this where small features get leaked as they’re being developed or worked on, finally when Microsoft releases Windows Mobile 7 to the public, it might be like, Oh! I’ve seen this before, had been using it for a long time as 6.5.5 or so.

So before Microsoft prepares for the Windows Mobile 7’ launch, if it is being evolved from 6.5, tighten the security of your development area so there are no leaks of your multiple tiny enhancements and finally reveal them all together for a bash.
