APPS PACK COLLECTIONS
Fun:
SprayCan - 1.2 - Digital SprayCan, you shake it and spray with it, kinda cheesy but good for a laugh
Television - 1.0.3 - Stream television channels and clips to your G1, scroll with the trackball or you'll get forceclose (pre cupcake build)
Dildroid - 1.0.3 - Show this to your girl, she can probably figure it out
Stardroid - 1.0.1 - Google Sky Map, uses compass to show you constellations in the sky. Pretty neat.
Top 100s - 1.0.0 - Top 100 playlists from several decades, good if you want to hear music you know from a certain decade (probably shoulda gone in musc...)
PlaysVideo - 1.1.3 - Finds all the video files on your g1 and lets you make playlists, watch them, etc
Moov - 1.1.2 - Phone search, searches contacts, media, settings, POT near you, facebook, netflix, wikipedia, all kinds of crap
Where - 1.3.6 - Restaurant reviews, movies, local news, gas prices, weather, friends, poi search, etc
Movies - 1.3.0 - Awesome little app, shows all movies out and upcoming, find where they are playing near you, watch trailers
Games:
Abduction - 1.1.5 - Platformer that uses the gyrometer, some people like it
Nesoid - 1.1 - NES emulator, though there's a newer version out on forums now
Mystique Ch1 - 1.0.0 - Mystique is a mystery horror game, check it out
Dogz2 - 1.2.3 - Like Sims... but for Dogs.
Texas Hold'Em - 0.0 - Poker, pretty fun to play too
Oregon Trail - 1.1.10 - A port of the childhood classic learning game
RoboDefense - 1.0.0 - Haven't played it, but I think its a strategy game
Gube - 1.0.0 - ****ing awesome 3d rubix cube, I play this thing all the time
Doom - 1.0.3 - A port of Doom, but you shouldn't install this version - there is a better free more updated one on the Market.
Dungeon Wonders - 0.9.3.2 - Amazing dungeon crawler simililar to games like nethack
GH4 - 1.5.8 - Guitar Hero World Tour, you probably know what this is
Buka - 2.2.1 - Cool game where you use touchscreen to keep asteroids away from a super cute alien
Labyrinth - 1.3 - Awesome recreation of the old wooden game where you try and get a metal ball through an obstacle course - billions of levels
Teeter - no version - Labyrinth clone with no level select option, possibly made by HTC. I've got to lvl 21.
GPS:
CoPilot - 8.0.0.303 - Great satnav application, but lacks an easy way to input addresses
CellFinder - 1.3 - Awesome app that shows an overhead sattelite map of your area and where the radio tower is you are conneted to, cool while driving
GPS Tracker - 1.8.0 - Haven't used it, but I think a program that lets you track your phone from a computer. SMS commander might be a better option.
1 Click Directions - 1.2.8 - My goto satnav app, great if you get 3g. POI search that finds businesses, I use this every day.
Yellowbook - 1.2.3 - POI search. I don't launch this by itself, but it integrates with 1click so if you use that, install this as well.
Location Log - 1.0.2 - Awesome program. Gets your GPS coords and lets you save them as a name. Use this when you are at a buddies house or work and you can open it back up and get a map to their house whenever you need to.
Music:
DroidLive - 1.0.1 - Streams shoutcasts / internet radio stations
Imeem - 2.1.0 - Streams music from your favorite artists, probably the best music app for android. Create favorites stations and use the like/dislike button a lot and you'll get great custom playlists.
Ringdroid - 1.1 - Edit mp3s right off your sdcard and make custom ringtones. Can't live without this one.
Music Search - 1.5 - Search for an artist or song and stream it right from the phone, can hit MENU to download the track to sdcard. Works great, finds lots of songs.
TuneWiki - 1.0 - Another music player with community features, haven't used this much yet
RockOn Lite - 1.3.2 - A better music player than the built in one, auto dls album art, awesome interface, playlist support, desktop widget - the best program for listening to music you already have on your sdcard, I think it puts ipod interface to shame.
Other cool and useful apps:
AccuWeather - 1.0.2 - Gets the weather for your area using sat or network
Snap Photo Pro - 1.3.4 - A better camera program than built in one, supports auto white balance, stabalizer, filters, etc
AudioMod - 1.2 - Autohack for changing phone volume up to 3 levels above normal. Requires root, works great.
LukLuk - 1.1.0 - Awesome little program, lets you stream movies and tv shows to your g1 for free. Sometimes take a minute or two to cache, but movies look dvd quality and they have a decent selection.
Scan2PDF - 1.1.2 - Use your phones camera to scan documents to a pdf file, or scan anything to a pdf file.
Android IRC - 1.2.0 - Best IRC app on Android, though I believe its a few versions behind now. If anyone finds a newer version PLEASE let me know.
SetCPU - 1.3.0r3 - Overclocking app, requires root (I think), lets you set new max and mix speed for your phone. Safe / Stable.
ChompSMS - 2.4 - Absolutely blows the normal SMS messaging app out of the water. Way more options, full display configuration, looks way better, etc. Big feature - allows blacklisting numbers (like spammers).
Qik - 0.0.7 - A webcam for g1. Create an account and start streaming, people can see you from qik.com/username. Allows for saving and uploading of videos for later viewing, as well as making them public or private, and sharing them to sites like Youtube and myspace. Just Awesome.
DoggCatcher - 1.0.516 - Probably the best RSS reader and podcast catcher on the g1
RootBooter - 1.1.1 - Allows you to reboot with 1 click in to recovery or SPL mode. Requires root.
BuddyMob - 1.3.2 - A cool social networking app for g1 users, lets you see people in your area on a map, send friend requests, etc
Wikitude - 6.08 - Free version of the Wikitude Augmented Reality Guide. Must check it out for yourself, if you like it check below for premium version.
IM+ Full - 2.0.2 - Messenger that supports yahoo/icq/aim/msn/gtalk etc, works great but disconnects sometimes without notice. Otherwise great.
RemoteRDP - 1.8.0 - Remote desktop in to your home computer and servers, great tool for network admins.
Quickoffice - 2.0HTC - A rip of HTC's quickoffice, view office documents on your g1
Phone Tools:
Reverse Lookup - 1.8.1 - Look up phone numbers of people who call you, shows telemarketers and home phones, but not cell phones
Dial 0 - 1.04 - Find direct 1-800 numbers for lots of major companies without going through the hassle of looking it up online and finding the right dept. Cool when you need to call dell, best buy, etc
SpoofApp - 2.0.1 - Make phone calls to your friends from any number you want, change your voice, etc. 5 min trial.
CallerID Whitepages - 2.0.2 - Best lookup app, finds cell phones and private numbers, allows lookup on incoming calls in real time. Finds almost all numbers for me. This is a paid app.
123SPOOF Mobile - 1.0.2 - Make unlimited spoofed phonecalls to friends and family from any number you put in, 2 minute call timelimit.
Shopping:
Kooaba - 1.0.0 - Take a picture with your phone of any product of poster and instantly find its wiki page, google page, amazon, etc
Have2Eat - 1.0 - Finds food places around you, great for finding places you didn't know about or somewhere to eat when you aren't near home. Great for dates!
ShopSavvy - 3.5.1 - Lookup barcodes and find price comparisons in your area.
Compare Everywhere - 1.3 - Exactly the same as ShopSavvy, but I use this one more. (I don't use either often.)
ShoppingListPlus - 1.8.2 Great shopping list app
Hungry! - 1.2.3 - Ever GREATER shopping list app, I use this every week
