We are excited to release our new Skyfire 1.5 browser for Windows Mobile. The release improves rendering for newer, higher resolution devices, improves the overall user experience with an intuitive, finger-friendly user interface, and upgrades both our client & server for an even faster browsing experience.
It supports both touch (PPC) and non-touch screens (SMP).






What’s new in this release?

Full VGA support: Skyfire now provides native support for the high resolution VGA and wVGA screens as available on many newer Windows Mobile phones. Web pages now render sharp and crisp with full fidelity

Finger friendly UI: A new, intuitive, and finger friendly UI for high resolution phones provides an easier browsing experience

Smooth Scrolling: Kinetic scrolling has been added to Skyfire. Pan or flick the screen to move in any direction smoothly

Full screen mode: For touch screens, browse in full screen mode with no UI elements on the screen for maximum page visibility

Enhancements:
Auto-move text entry box when the (virtual keyboard) is used: Assures that a text entry box moves into view in case the virtual (on-screen) keyboard covers it
Updated Flash and Silverlight: Updated both to the newest version available
Updated Start Page: Optimized for high resolution devices
Performance: Upgraded both client and server for faster and more responsive browsing
Known Issues:
On some newer HTC Touch screen devices auto-rotate may only work after a restart.

great app of course. use it for watching my mlb.tv games mainly, or really whenever i need flash as it works like a charm. "luvs it" & a smaller memory footprint, cant argue with that

anyway the reason I ask is because unless I did something wrong, it's showing for me as version 1.0012113 which I already have posted.

ya i show the same version ".13" installed it on fresh hard booted phone thought it was somethin i did

well i brought out the ole skyfire after installing this new version. figured it doesn't get as much love as maybe it should, so i started poking around. after setting up a few RSS feeds, linking GMail & Facebook to the Home Page, it reminds me of why i luv this browser. you can update status & see what your friends are doing & get your emails all thru the home page. kind of igoogle-ish. anyway just thought i'd share. cheers

np bro it works great on my pro its so easy to browser whit it on they big screen never realy use the browser much on my touch but whit this man its awesome
