Whoop there it is!!!!!! Smartdial as promised!!!

install the .cab file below and then copy the files inside the .zip folder to your /windows directory then soft reset


**for SMARTDIAL**
close cprog.exe with a Taskmanager and copy etphone.dll in the v.3.b smartdial.zip to /Windows then soft reset

Also theres an all black skin as well

still no landscape on this one

when u extract there are 2 folders that have etphone.dll. Which one is it? GERv.3b or WWEv.3b?? Thanks BRA!


EDIT:: I USED THE WWEv.3b folder andf took that file and overwrote it! WORKS BETTER THEN EXPECTED... THANK YOU MIKE OL BUDDY OL PAL!

im not home yet, but ill reup when i get to my PC

but you can find this dialer in my DIAMOND WAD2 THEME thread (minimal dialer) so you can download now, ill post the smartdial file when i get home

the zip includes the basic dialer cab and the skin to be applied

i can't get the smartdial to work, it doesn't let me overwrite the etphone.dll, has anyone tried this with the new official touch rom?

nevermind guys i sorted it out, resco is soooo much better than total comander for this kinda shit, so yeah this dialer is THE SHIT!! thanks y'all!

is it possible to uninstall or go back to the stock dialer on the vogue/6900? looked for the files that would be overwritten in the /windows folder so i could back them up and go back to the original dialer if i wanted to, but i couldnt find em. Would really like to use this on my touch, especially since it has the call button on the dial pad, but dont wanna have to hard reset to go back.

yes all you have to do is go to start/settings/system/remove programs

if you do all you do is back up the old ones by copying and pasting to your storage card.

right, thats what i was trying to do... except that i couldnt find the original files that they overwrite in the windows folder. (was exploring thru activesync on desktop)
